"BT Sport on BT TV is not available in your area"?

Hi, does anyone know if this is a coverage or demand issue (or neither)?  I keep getting this when trying to order BT TV (starter package) with the sport pack.

BT support has been useless, gave me a load of links to try ordering through, most of which weren't for what I wanted to order or I'd already tried.

They also tested my speed etc. so that's not the issue either.

Any ideas?

Cheers

Re: "BT Sport on BT TV is not available in your area"?

One thing to check is the broadband availability checker https://www.btwholesale.com/includes/adsl/main.html

At the bottom of the table, you might see entries for "Fibre multicast" (that's for Infinity) and "Copper multicast" (for ADSL).  If it's not available on your exchange, you won't get BT Sport on BT TV.

It says available for copper multicast and 17-Jul-15 for fibre.  I'm on ADSL so I should be able to get it?

That's strange, what happened to the reply in this topic and my reply?

Your not the only one i've tried ordering BT Sport on BT TV and get the "BT Sport on BT TV is not available in your area".

Guess us country folk who live in a village aren't important.

Well that's the thing, I live in a city... a pretty big one infact... London 🙂

The posts that vanished advised I checked my local exchange to see if it had mutlicast (it does).
