So - yesterday I ordered broadband and phone line - to be installed on 24th june.
This morning I received a text message "your order has been delayed - new visit date is 18th July." phoned at lunchtime to find out why, and was told "extra works needed" - it's an existing line so I don't know why there's almost a month delay.
about 15 minutes later I received another message saying "delayed until 2nd september"!!!
and to add the icing on the cake - about an hour later they moved that to the 5th of september!
so - that's an extra 2 and a half months over the "10 days" I was originally quoted when I gave them my address!
Gonna try and find out what's happening tonight - but 3 months install time is flippin ridiculous!
