Since yesterday (22/04/18), I am getting radio interference with streaming music through my wifi on my pc. I've tried it with an etherenet cable and that's fine so it's definitely the wifi.
It's a crackling or buzzing noice, cyclical as if it's coming from a rotating radar device like a military dish on a ship. I say that because I live near Portsmouth and the naval dockyard. It's very distracting and ruins the music. It also seems to put an extar beat in every cycle and certainly destroys my enjoyment, so no music for me now until it's sorted.
It seems OK in the evening but is a real problem during the day.
Any ideas anyone?
Hi @KenH I've moved your post to create your own thread as the previous thread was from a few years back. The community will be along to see if they advice that will help you.
Cheers

@KenH What version of the BT Hub do you have?
I'm with Virgin.
So why on earth are you posting on a BT Retail forum?
@KenH I'm sorry but we would not be able to offer you advice here. This community forum is for customers who have BT broadband.
Virgin routers are naff. Get a proper router and put the Virgin hub in modem mode. Solves lots of problems.
Unless BT are funding this site, which I doubt, then there is no legal, contractual or moral reason why everyone should not use it. The problem in this instance will have a common solution to any radio communications.
