Recent publicity from BT is about "renewing" my contract, which actually means a new contract for a different, supposedly better service. By doing this, apparently I'll save £72. I'm quite satisfied with the service I have now, but saving some money sounds good. Does the £72 saving mean that if I don't enter this new contract, so stay with the service I have now, I'll pay £72 per year more than if I enter the new contract? If not, what does it mean?
Phone the BT renewal team on 0800.800.030 and they should be able to advise.
