No doubt it will get sorted what is ridiculous is the amount of time and trouble it is taking to get it sorted. For instance the following. 13 days from first reporting fault until an engineer call is due, even then still no guarantee of it being fixed once he does call. Over 10 hours spent in phone calls. Multiple call centre staff that haven't a clue what they are doing and contradicting each other. On hold in one instance for an hour. Hung up on by the call centre. Noise margin supposed to have been reset multiple times to a higher level but never done, and when it was finally done the following day it reset to a lower level yet again making internet un-useable. Call backs promised by multiple people not done. Now let's be honest do you know anyone that would call this good customer care and service?
as has been posted many times before having both the help line and forum mods involved at the same time can and does cause confusion it is always best once getting the mods involved to stop using the help line for that reason the reset of your noise margin to a lower level was an automatic function as the line was seen as stable by the exchange equipment the lower level is the normal default setting for all lines
