Come on BT,you really need to catch up
It's going to change in April, when rules come into effect to allow use of mobile phones throughout the EU as if they were at home. That might not last, however, once the UK has jumped ship.
Like their competitors, BT are not a social service but a hard-nosed business; all of them structure their products in a way they believe will generate the best profit, leading inevitably to differences between what they offer. There is choice, and there must have been something about BT's offering which made the overall package preferable to Three's otherwise you wouldn't have moved. Complaining then because a particular feature hasn't moved with you is futile, whichever choice you make.
Anyway, as far as the EU is concerned, it will be academic come April.
