I cannot send emails from my Iphone, I have checked all of the settings have followed advice re deleting the account, changing my password via the web and waiting for an hour etc and still get an error message telling me that my user name and password are incorrect. I can receive emails. I can send emails via the web just not my mobile. Can anyone suggest anything else to try as I am getting fed up changing my password every couple of hours.

Are you a BT Broadband customer or paying for your email through a BT Premium email account?
If you are not a BT Broadband customer or paying for your email with a BT Premium Email account it is probable that your email accounts have been "downgraded" to the BT Basic email account. This means that they can not be used on an email client.

Hi yes I signed up to premium and had an email to confirm the upgrade . Have tried everything without success , now using the BT app instead 😀
Have you set up a BTID and if so can you log onto your MyBT then go to My Products > manage email and check what type of account your email is listed as.
It sounds like it may be listed as a Basic account.
Hi yes I have checked all of that and I am listed as a premium account holder but still can’t send emails , however now using the BT App on my mobile so can receive and send via the App 😀
