I just got my 2nd smart hub with the same problem! Band steering cannot be turned on its coming soon! Yes firmware is updated. And when I split the 2.4ghz and channels no devices can connect or see the 5ghz connection! My wifi signal app shows there is no 5ghz signal. I guess I will calling india again tonight to get another replacement so I can repeat the process yet again. Oh joy!
Smart hub is steaming piece of #### I don't recommend this anybody. FFS BT get your quality act together.
If anybody can recommend a router that works with bt stuff that would be great. Thx
