some devices able to connect to the wireless and some not able to

So I recently decided to reset my lenovo laptop to factory settings using the lenovo one key recovery. Unlike before, I now cannot connect to my bt infinity wireless or wired internet. It say limited connection but won't allow internet access.

I then realised that several devices are connected and working with the home internet including computers, ipods etc (all of which have been connected before I reset my laptop). But any new devices (including my ps3 and ipad) will not connect and have the same problem as the laptop.

please someone help!

Re: some devices able to connect to the wireless and some not able to

It's almost certainly something in the wireless adapter settings. Try setting the hub to no password/security and see if they then connect. Then put the security back on (WPA2) and try to reconnect them. You will probably be asked for the key at that point and with a fair wind everything will work.

Re: some devices able to connect to the wireless and some not able to

Someone had previously given me advice with regards to firewall settings so have tried to connect with firewall on and firewall off. But baring in mind it is not just my laptop, my ps3, ipad and any new devicesthat have never connected before fail to connect - for example when someone comes round to the house (unlike before) their phones, ipods etc wont connect

If you've never changed any settings on the hub, bar the admin password, I'd factory reset it - http://bt.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/11386

Then see if those devices that couldn't connect now can.
