Does the Homehub drop the connection with the wireless and wired connection at the same time or do they drop out separately from each other?
If you are 100% certain that the drop outs are seperate from each other I suppose it is possible although unlikely that you have two different problems although I would have expected at least one of them to have been solved with the new Homehub.
It may be that they are dropping at the same time but the wired connection is quicker at reconnecting so gives the impression that it is only the wireless connection that is dropping.
Can you monitor that closely, especially now that you have had a replacement Homehub which should rule the hub out as being the problem. If they are both dropping out at the same time it would tend to indicate a fault with your actual connection.
When you are checking to see if the wireless connection has dropped make sure that you are checking to see if it connects to the Internet because you can still be connected to the Homehub but not the Internet.
hi guys, yet another update just keep dropping connection, only been getting 1 to 3 hours connection at a time, i have reset router, no better any help thankfully received, i have tried turning smart wifi off and changing channels, i am plugged in the master socket, giving ssid different names, done a quiet test on the line and it is fine, the only thing i can think about is that it maybe the master socket which as been in a long time, but loath to pay £129 for engineer to come out, i am on my second hub hh5, so dont think its that
