speed is terrible!!!

save me please from the speed woes i'm having

 

BT india is simply giving me the runaround !!!

 

this is a screenshot of the kind of speeds i'm getting and have been for around a month now with BT india admitting its a problem in the exchange but doing nothing!! or rather promising to fix and saying they will call in 2 days to confirm only for the next 2 days or 3 asking me!! if its fixed now i mean wtf?

 

heres the fault number if your willing to help

Join the club, unfortunately they're not going to tell you when it's being fixed, they'll simply hope a passing engineer has fixed it, then call you to check. This is from my own experience

i wonder how far they can escalate the case ? 4 times they have promised a fix they say its now with the capasity team  i forget  the other teams they mentioned before that!!

i'm expecting another call tonight sigh but i've already ran a speedtest tonight so i know already its not fixed

 

maybe theres another team it'll be escalated to!

Your best bet is wait a while for a mod to spot this but if they don't just PM a mod.

BT India is truely awful.

 

Whenever I have phoned with a problem, no matter what it is, I get the same response... reset your router, or I'll run a line test!

 

After I refuse either doing either, they dont know what else to say, even when I have told them what to do to put it right, they do it wrong, at best, or just dont do anything!!

 

How can BT think the India call centre is saving them money I will never know...  especially as BT have the highest bills, **bleep** cheek of them!!!

Your IP profile and sync speeds are in line with each other and are good, its the throughput that is awful, I would email the moderators for assistance giving account and phone number and link back to this thread. forum.moderation.team@bt.com

i'm having the exact same problem as geebus. it all started very recently within the past couple of days

 

 

the bt test tells me to run test 3, but that never fully completes it usually times out with an error or says unable to run on this line.

 

i don't have a homehub which the help line is having one sent out to me, but imo my router is not the problem. As the help line says there is no fault on my line

one thing i have noticed if i open a cmd promt and run a ping on google.co.uk im getting 2000 which is crazy

 

or ping -t jolt.co.uk it used ot be around 20-30 its now around 60 but hten if i open any web page it peaks to over 3000

 

something really isn't right
