still use Bt Youview without BT Infinity/Bt Phone?

Hi,

I have Infinity 2, Phone line and calls with Bt which is now out of contract as i have recently got Bt Youview in May (contracted until May 2015) and when i signed up i was told that my other products wouldnt recontract, so after complaining Bt have cancelled any contract for the BB and Phone.

As im now free to switch providers if i do so will it have any affect on the Youview package i have (Entertainment and kids at £10 per month). as according the Bts site i need Bt broadband to access the service. is this correct.

You will lose Entertainment and kids channels and access to the BT application and VoD content.

You will still be able to record and watch DTT channels and use catchup via iPlayer and the other PSB players.

You need to look at what cancelation charges and deferred  charges for the Youview box you would incur if you cease your BT TV within the first 12 months.
