trying to connect Epaon XP-2100 to BT Homehub6dx

I have just upgraded to the Homehub6dx and it won't talk to my Epson printer.

I have followed all of the Epson instructions but no luck.

Any suggestions?

have you turned of smart setup  

Turn Off smart setup

have you split the networks

Hi, no I haven't but the link takes me to Homehub 4 or 5. Is it the same process for Homehub6?

The link takes you to the hub6 (aka smart hub) as well

the smart setup link has various versions of the hub but same principle applies to all

splitting the networks is the same or very similar   if you had a SH2 then you cannot split the networks

I have turned off smart set up but couldn't split the networks as my hub is not a 4 or 5 but seems to be a 2 and the option to unsync the 2.4 and 5ghz was not available...

Still unable to connect the printer...

Factory reset the printer and set up from scratch.

A friend has the same printer and I changed their hub to a SH2 on Tuesday, just pressed the WPS button on the hub, pressed the WiFi button on the printer for about 10 seconds until the 2 icons started flashing and it connected straight away

I'm glad it worked for you, but I re-installed the software via the CD and the Hub light flashed and the printer flashed and then the printer decided that it couldn't connect...

Stuck now...
