Is the new VIP tv package good value for money when compared to sky or virgin.

Only you can make that judgement, it's purely a personal choice and depends on what you want from a provider.

Price is obviously important, but other considerations are - Do you want a bundled service, Set Top Box functionality and reliability, the range of channels, package flexibility, contract length, add ons and depth of content such as Box Sets etc.

For me, there are too many variables to make direct comparisons.

I agree with @Andy005 when he says only you can make that decision when you've weighed up your options. For me though it's no to BTTV. I still have the basic sub because I'm stuck in contract but I've long since jumped ship to Sky.
