what happens to contract if I move to a non-full fibre home

Go to solution

Hi,

I'm looking at an offer to upgrade my Full Fibre BT Halo 1 (74/20) to Full Fibre 100 BT Halo 1. The offer gives 24months at no extra cost despite the significant speed factor. However I plan to move in the first half of next year and am concerned as to what happens, contract-wise, if my new location is not on the fibre network. Can/will I be held to any commitment enshrined within the offer?
Thanks

Hi @PMJay  welcome to the forum and thanks for your post.

Have a look at the Residential Terms and Conditions for Broadband and see section 13(c).

cheers

Excellent John,
Perfectly clear from that. Puts my mind at rest knowing if I move home and BT cannot provide a service at my new UK address I will not be hit for compensation.

Cheers, and thanks for the quick response
