how do u change wireless channels with a netgear wireless adapter manually

you change channels in the router and the adapter will change automatically when it connects to your ssid

enter 192.168.1.254 in browser if hub then go to wireless.  you should be able to switch to manual from automatic channel selection then choose your wireless channel. you can try downloading inssider2 (istumbler if MAC) and then run it. This will show the broadcasting networks round about you and their channels including your own. If you then enter your router and change your wireless channel to a free or less congested channel.

if you are using a wireless connection your device will drop connection and then reconnect on the new channel - you don't have to do anything to your wireless device
