wireless connection

A few days ago my computer crashed.  It came back without a wireless connection.  Message read "WLAN disabled".  The wireless assistant tells me it cannot be enabled from there.  WHAT DO I DO???

Re: wireless connection

It really depends on what operating system you are using. If its Windows XP then you can do the following.

Start - settings - Network Connections .    Look for your wireless connection, it will probably say "disabled".

Right click on it and you should see a menu with "enable" on it. Select this option.

Re: wireless connection

Hi Pond

What type of laptop/pc are you using? If you are using a laptop there will be a manual switch somewhere on the laptop to enable/disable your wireless or you will have to press the FN and one of the F keys (most likely has a wireless looking antennae on it) to enable it.
