I came across this thread, while trying to troubleshoot issues connecting to Sonos speakers with the BT Smart Hub 2. The posted workaround, involving switching off the 5GHz network, appears to work for me.
I would like to get hold of the firmware update, in order to not have to use this workaround - I live in an apartment block, and there are many other networks on the 2.4GHz channels, which would impact reception for other devices.
I'm also having this issue and would like the firmware upgrade pushed to me,
