BT recently provided me a new router because our connections kept dropping.
I have separated the 2.4 and 5ghz networks and the former is fine, but the 5ghz channel keeps disappearing.
It's not just that the devices lose their connection, the router seems to stop broadcasting at 5ghz as it disappears from the available networks list.
Has anyone had this problem? The router is brand new and a reset brings it back to life, but my work computer only connects at 5ghz so this is simply not acceptable when I'm WFH.
Hi @EABowden, welcome to the forum, and sorry that your hub keeps losing the 5ghz frequency.
Try a Reset Of The Smart Hub and see if the problem persists after that.
