HI
I went to change my admin password on my BT Smarthub, through the MyBT app.
On entering correct password, I keep getting incorrect password, try again.
Tried on a browser through the 192.168.1.254 IP address for hub manager, same error details again, together with a warning triangle, connection not secure (same on various browsers).
I have phoned BT, got through after 40 minutes, then was put on hold for a further 15 minutes, only to be informed that there is nothing they can do, and will send out a new hub!
Has anyone had similar issues, its driving me mad.
Rgds
Phil
are you connected to your home network? are you entering the admin password not the wireless password
Hi
I'm entering admin password and am connected, no issues there.
I tried and looked through options on the app but could not find section to change admin password
That's correct, only option I have is to try and go through the IP option, which I tried and failed spectacularly.
I suppose when I get new hub, I'll just have to leave admin password as is, so I don't have to through all that b****x again 🙄
Have you tried a factory reset of the hub?

Open the MyBT App
Tap 'More' (bottom right hand corner)
Tap 'Your Wi-Fi Network'
Tap on your hub.
Change Admin Password is in there
@Anonymous
I've done all that, but it wont let me in as password isn't being accepted!
