Advanced phone Z not stopping recording

HI

I have had an Advanced Phone Z for a month or so.

On 3 occasions when someone leaves a message it seems to continue recording the message until it runs out of room. There is a message on the handset showing ‘Recording message from…….‘  for 40 minutes. No incoming or outgoing messages are possible. It does not cleardown the call. Each time I have fixed it by powering off and on the base station. Subsequently the message is accessible. The calls list seems to have been slightly corrupted with some incorrect dates

Some messages have been left without this problem.

Any observations/suggestions? Thanks in advance

you can email them from this page.

Question : Can you confirm who the telephone line provider is ?
I ask as some providers are not sending the correct line condition to close the call down.
if you can't email and your phone is within warranty call 0800 145 6789 Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5.30pm, Saturday 9am to 2pm

Thank you for your response.

It is plusnet so there shouldn't be a problem.

I have spoken to the BT helpdesk who confirmed that the base unit needs replacing.
