Yes I have a Google Pixel 2 Phone using Android 9, its all working with no problems with BT’s Whole Home
Thankyou, that helps, as that is Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, dual-band, so 5Ghz and 2.4 GHZ, which fits with my tablet and very old android phone that work fine. Its my new single band Moto G7 that seems to cause problems
Anybody else with a single band ( Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n ) android phone on Pie/9 share their experience too?

Yes...OnePlus 5 running Pie.
All ok with that device. Am having a few issues with the latest whole home firmware....discs going red and not daisy chaining but don't believe that's anything to do with Pie. We also have a Motorola phone that just updated to pie. Seems ok...

Think the Motorola is a G6 plus...
Thanks again 🙂 They are both 5GHZ and 2.4GHZ dual band wifi, so further confirms
Anybody with a single band (2.4Ghz only) any experience
Stu
OK, so, I decided as I was within my 2 weeks return period to return the phone and go for the higher spec that is dual band. Early days but seems to work fine and not cause issues with the wholehome mesh. I will update this in a few days when I have a better Idea, for future referance
