Re: Avast reports smarthub vulnerable to attack.

My hub had what I assume was an update a couple of days ago. It went off for a few minutes then came back on. But no info to say what had been happening. Maybe I should check my version status.

Checked status. My version ends 522 done on 11 Jan 2018.

Log only gave event info for today, so no idea what it was doing the other day.

mine is the same ending b522.

I suppose we just have to wait for the newer update to get downloaded as and when?

I don’t think that icepuffin can access that link.

However, the B540 update is coming through.

Interesting that my own Norton came through with an obscure update, under the heading “Hub”. No doubt bt’ McAfee will also have the same updates. They all speak to each other.

Regarding the B540 update which is on its way,  but perhaps moreso the B522 update which others already have, can I ask please where you are seeing this info.  This is what I see on mine:

Firmware version:v0.09.05.11160-BT
Firmware updated:Thu Jan 18 21:44:24 2018
