Thanks Sean. My Hub is still running version ending 522 last updated 13.4.18. Not sure where the 'contact link' here is to give you details. (Clicking on SeanD in the box at the end gives me an 'invalid parameters' message??)

Thank you BT, at long last clearing this issue up, just ran the avast scan again still showing there is as a problem but after cross checking the update number yes I am now protected and look forward to you sorting that other small problem out soon you pointed out. I do feel BT was rather too slow to react to this and I hope you have made changes to inform us all quicker on any new issues which of course we all hope will not come around.

No worries, hope you get your problem sorted out.
Good news..... light at the end of the tunnel.... but I do think that as the HUB 6 is supposed to be the 'flagship' of BT that they would have been on top of this a little earlier, it also shows that Avast was right in highlighting this issue, but thankfully resolved now.
Thanks Robbie from BT. Sorry I missed your call earlier, but on checking my hub status, I see that it has been updated to the version ending 540. I understand that although Avast is still showing a problem this has actually been corrected.
