A few months ago I bought a pair of extenders and had great success with them, recently I purchased another pair for upstairs in our house, initially they worked perfectly, however a couple of weeks ago our internet (plusnet unlimited fibre extra) went down for a few days. Ever since then 1 of the extenders upstairs would not connect but the other 1 still does. I have tried changing Ethernet cable, I have reset the problem to factory and repaired properly (I think). All 3 lights are on after pressing the link buttons on 2 extenders etc but still nothing. I am trying to connect a now tv box wired but it says no internet yet in the extender all lights are on, when I plug into the tv directly it says no connection too.
I’ve looked through the faqs but cannot see anything to help.
When you say "I have reset the problem to factory", do you mean you have factory reset the Hub or the extender? If not the latter, try factory resetting the extender. If that doesn't work, then the extender may have developed a fault, and may need to be replaced.
