Hi, I have a BT Decor 2200 set for high ring for incoming calls. It has suddenly gone very quiet and not the ring I had chosen. I changed batteries but the same problem. I thought maybe the phone so purchased a new one. Set to high ring but very quiet again.
My phone provider is Virgin and they say the line is ok.
Any ideas please. I now cannot hear the phone unless I am in the same room.

This is a BT Retail forum. You will need to contact Virgin Media so they can check their exchange equipment as it may be putting out a weak ringing current, which they would not see as a line fault. They have their own network and terminal equipment, which does not involve BT Retail or Openreach. They will have to send someone to your house to investigate.

Hi they are in the menu. Once I reach that option in the menu I can select the level I want, it gives me a test ring and I then confirm.
What I cannot understand is the test is very loud but when it rings on an incoming call it is very quiet.
