BT Disc - Can you use a cable from your router rather than wifi?

Hi everyone,

i recently purchased a BT Disc and want to know if i can connect a cable from my BT Hub to the disc (i have an easy cable run) rather than connecting from my hub over wifi to the disc.

Hi @beightonbat, welcome back to the community and thanks for posting, yes you can connect the disc to your hub with an ethernet cable if you prefer. Do you have the Whole home wifi or Complete wifi equipment?

 it is complete wifi i think - its the black disc

yes it is Smart Hub 2

@beightonbat great, I wanted to make sure as the complete wifi has been designed to only work with the Smart Hub 2. You'll be able to connected it to the disc by ethernet or wirelessly
