Installed Home Hub 6 and everything works except trying to access the Admin on the hub through Firefox and get Connection to 192.168.1.254 failed. Firefox is up to date and I can access the Home Hub admin fine using Microsoft Edge and Chrome. Was having a similar problem with Home Hub 5 but it is beginning to annoy me now. Does anyone have any ideas.

Someone posted last year suggesting that the browser may be treating it as a search request and to try bthomehub.home
It works fine for me using Firefox but bear in mind the hub manager page doesn't support HTTPS, only HTTP which may be causing your problem.
Tried bthomehub.home Tried that get this - Unable to determine IP address from host name bthomehub.home
Tried http get this - Unable to determine IP address from host name bthomehub.home
Tried https get this - Firefox can't establish a connection to the server at bthomehub.home.
Tried http://192.168.1.254/ get this -
The following error was encountered while trying to retrieve the URL: http://192.168.1.254/
Connection to 192.168.1.254 failed.
The system returned: (101) Network is unreachable
Have already tried all the simple stuff and can connect OK through another browser. So it seems to be browser specific or some change I have made in the browser but can't see anything to change back.
It's probably something within Firefox...
Does this direct link work Hub Manager
Yes , it is probably something I (or an add-on) may have done within Firefox but I don't know what and Firefox is my browser of choice so it is a little frustrating when I cannot use it to access Home Hub Admin.
Keith,
No none of the accepted URL's or domain names work to access the Admin side of Home Hub 6. I am about to switch off some Firefox Add-ins to check that.
OK, I have solved this problem. I have a Firefox Add-in for PureVPN which is affecting access to the local IP address. Switch off PureVPN and access is OK, switch it back on again and HH6 admin is unavailable. My other browsers do not have PureVPN yet so are unaffected.
Thanks for the suggestions folks.
