BT Home cam 100 web portal login

I have had my BT Home cam 100 for over 4 years and it has worked well on both the App and computer. Now however i cannot get to the web portal page

https://myhomecam.bt.com/app/c/login.html

All i get is server not found. BT do not seem to be able to help when i call them and say wait a couple of hours. Now i'm getting fed up of waiting and wondered if anyone else has this problem?

Thanks for your response, The App on my phone works but cannot save clips from the events long using the App.

It is the PC web portal that is not working

It appears to be a discontinued product, but there is a helpline number on this page.

I am sorry to hear that the site was down for you. I've checked it this morning and it appears to be up. Can you check it again please? Let me know if it's still working and if not, let me know exactly what's missing.

I have tried it myself here, and its showing down.

https://myhomecam.bt.com/app/c/login.html

Server not found

Firefox can't find the server at myhomecam.bt.com.

    Check the address for typing errors such as ww.example.com instead of www.example.com
    If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network connection.
    If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.

It does not appear to be in DNS.

You will be going via the BT proxy server, or direct on the Intranet, so that is maybe why you can see it?

As the last message it is still down and I cannot get the the bt.custhelp.com pages either.

Two days ago all was working well

It may be the proxy rather than the intranet.

I'm getting this checked out for you both. Are you both familiar with running a traceroute? If you are, could you complete one for me as it'll make it easier to troubleshoot Smiley Happy

Is not being resolved, so a trace will fail as shown here.

C:\Users\Keith>tracert myhomecam.bt.com
Unable to resolve target system name myhomecam.bt.com.

The host is not in DNS.

Someone needs to look at the nameservers. it possible that the BT Proxy is resolving locally, as it a BT domain.

Perhaps somebody has allowed the domain to expire, or not paid the bill Smiley Wink
