Thanks for posting in this morning. The specialist team are still investigating what they believe the issue could be for you. I've emailed them this evening to update me when they're in the office tomorrow. I'll be in until 9pm tomorrow and will update you.
Hi @Mark1972 I called there but missed you, sorry about the delay replying. I've raised a case with our Hub team to get the problems you're experiencing when the disc is connected investigated and as soon as I have any updates back I will get back in touch.
@DanielS 's previous message that you responded to was for the OP of the thread so make sure to keep an eye out for the username on the post as that's who the message is intended for.
The team investigating this have told me that they have all of the info that they need from Thursday. They're going through them and will update me over the next couple of days when they've come to a conclusion.
Hi. Just returning from holiday. Will test tomorrow morning and advise. Many thanks
I have tested our various devices over the last day and can report that everything bar my iPhone Xs is working as expected. I have spent over 1 hour with Apple trying to find a solution for my iPhone. Apple concluded that it is not my handset. The problem still remains that whilst on the ground floor the iPhone does not work correctly unless I am in the same room as the router. Upstairs where the disc is placed the iPhone works perfectly. I cannot use the BT app whilst on the ground floor as it struggles to make a connection to the wi-fi. Surprisingly my wife's iPhone 8 does not show the same problems. To the non-techie it would appear that the Xs is constantly trying to hold the wi-fi connection via the disc irrespective of the room it is in.
Do you have any further thoughts?
