BT Smart Home Cam

Had to replace BT100 cameras BT no longer supporting. Trying to detup new Smart Home cameras . But app saying unable to find camera in pair mode. error code 1001. Camera is showing connected on wifi? Restarted Hub, reinstalled app disallousioned .

Try turning Smart Setup off.

Have you tried to set it up as per the user guide?

Can you see the camera in Android or IOS

Hi I had exactly the same issue. I replaced 3 homecam 100. Two were set up with no issues. Yesterday I upgraded the software iOS on my iPhone and now when setting up the third camera I get the error message you are getting. I’ve now used an old iPad to set it up which was on an older version of iOS and it worked first time. Once added it appears on my profile when I access it on my phone. If you have a device on an older version of iOS try using that. If not BT will need to update the app!

Hi,

Yesterday tried setting up using my wife,s iphone6 which is using software version 12.4.2 & set up the 4No Smarthome cameras in minutes with no issues.

The cameras have all also appeared on my iphone 7 which has software version 13.1.2. but when attempting to view each camera green lights changes to orange & states connection error.

Thanks for your reply, works on my wifes iphone6 & as yo suggested tried on my ipad & all works fine.

There as suggested is an issue with the App & latest IOS.
