BT Smart Hub 2 with EE 4G SIM router

Have run into problems with Openreach trying to install FFTP.  I'm told it may be six months before they can get permission to dig to the premises.

Currently running intermittent standard fibre FTTC on Smart Hub 2.

I don't have a BT Hybrid Connect unit, but I do have an EE 4G SIM router with an option for month-to-month contract.

Is it possible to run the EE router in conjunction with the Smart Hub 2?

Idea being when BT standard fibre FFTC fails, as is often the case, it will automatically switch to the EE router.

Nope, that won't work I'm afraid.
