It's a device that boosts the signal into the TV; specifically a Nikkai Distribution Amp 2 way.

Yes but if signal strength gets near to 100% then you'll lose the Freeview HD channels. Yes I know what you're thinking but I'm stone cold sober

Don't understand your comment about losing the HD channels when the signal strength approaches 100%.

The most likely outcome of a high signal strength is picture breakup, I've never heard of it causing channels to be lost.

I run at about 95% signal strength which I find to be just right.

Hi Tim.

I'm surprised to hear you don't understand that bit, there are many posts on the community regarding it, particularly with the T2100 box. The standard fix seems to be fitting an in line attenuator in the aerial lead

It's not just a case of pixelation, the HD channels completely disappear from the EPG
