BT Whole Home Wifi - Port Forwarding

Is it possible to port forward to devices connected to Whole Home Wifi?

I have BT WHWifi connected to a BT Smart Hub. Devices connected to the WHWifi do not list as connected devices on the smart hub network manager, making it ostensibly impossible to do.

Many thanks

Re: BT Whole Home Wifi - Port Forwarding

Hi @MrVague-uk and thanks for posting.

I'm sure we'll be able to get some advice on this. Can you confirm what the port forwarding is specifically for? Is it for gaming reasons?

Cheers

David

Re: BT Whole Home Wifi - Port Forwarding

My WHWF is plugged into my BT Smarthub and it is that that handles port forwarding etc. My sons' use the PS4 which requires port forwarding via UPNP and if you go into advanced settings on the Smart Hub it clearly shows which ports are open etc.

Re: BT Whole Home Wifi - Port Forwarding

Have you updated your disc firmware to v1.02.01build22? I've got a Smart Hub and discs with the latest firmware and can see all devices on WHW from the Hub interface.

I'd suggest rebooting and/or factory resetting your Smart Hub to see if this resolves it for you.
