BT Whole Home wi-fi extender.

Just bought three whole home discs but wish I hadn't. The password is only accepted on some devices and not others, even though input identically multiple times. I have connected two phones and two ipads ok using the password. I connected one TV but only with WPS button, and three other TVs and two laptops (all recent) will not accept the password (which must be correct as it works with four devices). I now have less coverage than with the previous setup involving two plug-ins! Any advice gratefully appreciated that doesn't involve a flame thrower.

Re: BT Whole Home wi-fi extender.

Hi,

Sorry to hear that you are having connectivity issues with your Whole Home Wi-Fi, could I ask which version of the Discs have you purchased (Standard, Mini or Premium)?

Could you try logging into the Web Management GUI (http://btwhole.home), and navigate to Set-Up -> Wi-Fi -> Change 'Security Mode' to 'WPA (Auto) -> Then save the changes.

Please report back if this resolves the connectivity issues with the other devices.

Many Thanks
