BT WholeHome ethernet has wrong name

3 disc system installed.  All 3 discs correctly broadcast their BTwholehomeVTN wifi id, but if I connect anything to the ethernet of  the 3rd disc it identifies as a netgear range extender's id.  (That was in place when I first installed the discs, but is now turned off. )

Have factory reset the whole system, including the router, but it still identifies as the range extender's id.

Seems very weird

Re: BT WholeHome ethernet has wrong name

Hi @AxeMcAxe

Do you mean that the device shows under Whole Home Wi-Fi devices list as a Netgear Extender or do you mean the name that is shown for the Ethernet connection in Windows 10 for example?

Re: BT WholeHome ethernet has wrong name

Hi

On the 3rd disc only, the Ethernet connection has the Netgear Extender's name.  as far as I can tell it broadcasts the correct BT Wifi name.
