I just bought a new gigacube mobile router with 4g from vodafone.
It's set up and working fine. I also have a new BT wholehome kit to run the signal through the house. It says to connect the wholehome direct to the router ethernet port. when i do this into gigacube box, the line drops every time from the gigacube box and i have no signal, nor does the disc receive anything. Disc lights flash purple/ blue and then stay red.
Unplugging it and the signal immediately comes back. Any ideas on how to get this to work?

don't think it is intended to work with mobile 4g
thanks, if that's right is there no way to use some other device to get the signal across the house? I've terrible 4g, so the only place is in a far corner of the house.
BT hotspot 600, simple and cheap. It uses the mains wiring.
do you think that will work with the gigacube?
I cannot see any reason why not, as all it does is to extend an Ethernet connection. It does request an IP address using DHCP, but you can configure it to a static IP address.
thanks, this works fine - and also i can use the wholehome too through the hotspots
