BT WiFi 750 extender reset

How do I factory reset the extender there is no reset button, reason is it connects ok to my router but rejects any attempt to connect a device to the extender as saying incorrect password.

If you are having a problem with the password it should be the same as the HUB's if you installed using the WPS method.

Re: BT WiFi 750 extender reset

Thank you for the info, reset ok, but can’t resolve the password issue, cannot connect any device to the extender. Extender connects to the router is fine.

Re: BT WiFi 750 extender reset

Have you looked at the password in the advance settings. To do this find the IP address being used by the extender. Look in hub GUI and enter the IP address in to your browser you will require the admin password from the back of the extender. You can then check or change the password and or SSID

Re: BT WiFi 750 extender reset

I have just solved this problem. Before throwing the extender in the bin.

I found the extenders IP address in my routers list of connected devices.

I then put the extenders IP address into a browser.

followed on screen instructions to set up user account.

I then went into extenders WiFi setting and altered the extenders WiFi password.
