We have put together a short survey to capture your feedback in terms of what BT can do when you experience home Wi-Fi issues. We would appreciate it if you could take a couple of minutes to complete a short survey. Read more from here, Fix my home Wi-Fi
I'm one of many that brought the 6000 baby monitor with the benefit of connecting via the app which it advertised when I purchased 9 months ago.
Due to the situation we've never needed to as we've had to remain at home, but now we need to access via the app which we found didn't work.
How can we resolve this matter?
Can you post on here or PM the procedure?
Hi Murray B,
Can you also PM me the solution for this issue please.
The BT Smart Controls app will only work with the BT Smart Baby Monitor with 5” screen (item code 096030) or the BT Smart Baby Monitor with 2.8” screen (item code 096031). For instructions on how to set both of these Baby Monitors up with the app please visit this link, BT Smart Baby Monitor and app setup
An easy way to identify if the device is a Smart Baby Monitor is if the front part of the baby unit is purple in colour. If the baby unit is white, you have a Traditional Baby Monitor.
The BT Video Baby Monitor 6000 (item code 088306) is not compatible with the app so you will not be able to use the app to complete the setup.
