BT black WiFi discs

Go to solution

So we're moving house, and at the new address fibre 1 is the fastest speed we can get so we're downgrading to this. The problem is you can't get complete WiFi on the package.

I know it's a £30 charge if I don't return the disc, but if I do this can I keep using it? We're going to nee some form of extender

Thank you

You can get Complete Wifi with Fibre 1. It is a £12 a month add on.

Still worth paying the £30 for the 24 month contract if it will still work though

That's your choice, I was only pointing out that you were wrong when you said you couldn't get it with Fibre 1.

Fair play. The person I spoke to on the phone didn't seem to think so, but I think I also confused them with talking about mesh networks.

Do you know if the disc will still work if I pay the £30 or do BT disable it?

Trying to figure out my options. Moving tomorrow and will test to see if the 1 disc I have is enough, if it's not it's either complete wifi or by a separate mesh wifi system.

The discs are not enabled or disabled by BT.

Great, thank you. Let's see if 1 disc is enough then 🙂
