Re: BT video baby monitor 6000 additional camera

@Keith07 Was there a response to your question or does anyone know what the user experience is in this scenario please? I am intrigued to know before I purchase another camera for my second child. Thank you.

Re "Re: BT video baby monitor 6000 additional camera
Hi Bruno. When using two cameras on the 6000 model, will the camera experiencing noise or movement automatically alert you on the screen or do you have to manually check each camera? Is there an auto cycling or auto toggling feature?"

Re: BT video baby monitor 6000 additional camera

There is an automatically toggling option that switches camera every fifteen seconds but doesn’t strictly speaking alert to noise.

What option is this? I have two cameras set up and that would be useful.

I haven’t set it up but apparently it’s the last option on the list.

Hi @Sunamelon, it's the last option to the right in the menu on the parent unit.

Will the BT 2000 also connect?

Re: BT video baby monitor 6000 additional camera

Hi @Gemma1 , not sure if you're trying to connect a 2000 camera to a 6000 screen, or vice-versa, but scroll up to have a look at message 16 and beyond on this thread. Does this help?

In general, yes, the screens and cameras can connect to each other between different models. But there are obvious caveats where some features won't work (eg panning the 6000 camera using a 2000 monitor).

Re: BT video baby monitor 6000 additional camera

Where can I buy just the cameras for these devices? It’s very unclear where to go and what prices I should be paying for each.

Not sure about the 3000 but I got the 5000/6000 from here in February as per a message above and they provided an efficient service - https://www.discomm.co.uk/bt-video-baby-monitor-50006000-replacement-camera-unit-only-334-p.asp
