BT7610

I have a BT7610 phone.  When I try to play the messages on ans mach it says no link to base and then says something about power cut do I want to check time/date are correct

I have reset handset settings and base settings, replaced the batteries and reset time/date, but still no joy.

Any suggestions?

Can you make calls ok? If you have caller display on the line it should reset the clock and date next time a call comes in.

I can make and receive calls.  I do not have caller display.  The time/date are fine.  Its just frustrating to not be able to play back messages.  I did try skipping through so they became "old" messages but still unable to play.
