BT8500 ~ acts as if Muted but isn't!!

We have a BT 8500 system with 4 handsets, since we have returned from holiday two of the handsets will not allow the caller to hear us ~ They are Not muted ~ have tried deleting and reregistering ~ removed batteries for a day but still the  problem exists ~ does anyone have a solution?

@gfsjchurch I'm sorry to see you're having problems with your phone. I've taken a look over the user guide and can't see any relevant advice for this problem. Have you tried turning the Phone base station off and on to see if that helps? If not I'd recommend you contact the BT8500 helpdesk on the below contact info as the handsets may be faulty.
