I have purchased the BT WholeHome Wi-Fi unit (3 white discs), which has been working great, with usual speeds above 50MBps. For a while now and at times daily, the speed drops to 0.02-0.04MBps and I must restart all three devices, before it goes back to what it was.
I have went on to set 2.4G to channel 1 and 5G to channel 36, since I read that might help, but I have seen no changes. The BTWholeHome is connected to my main broadband unit via an ethernet cable, which in turn is connected directly to the Master Socket.
I am not too sure what to do, please help, thanks.
Hi @CarrionC Welcome to the community and thanks for posting, I'm sorry to see you're having problems with your Whole Home wifi speeds. Is it possible for you to try a few of the other channels? Sometimes its a matter of trial and error to find the best channel for your home.
If you're still having this issue after trying a few of the channels I'd recommend to contact the helpdesk for further support on 0808 100 6116 or email email@example.com
