I had a broadband fault reported 6.4.18 which BT closed on 19.4.18. Engineer been and replaced master socket and said all was ok. All works fine infinity speed of about 65mbps but internet keeps dropping every so often. Sometimes ok for up to 2 days or so but tonight dropped twice. I have tried quiet line test and all ok. I can only think now it must be faulty home hub? Will BT provide another one to test? Any ideas or suggestions to resolve would be welcome.
I have experienced this. Resolution for me ultimately was to buy different router/mesh system. I had BT Whole Home mesh sysem with latest BT smarthub. TBH it has been total nightmare dealng with BT Whole home and BT Broadband to try to resolve.
However in the five months this has been going on for I defintitely have had two faulty smathubs so that seems to be a good starter for ten 🙂 . BT have been fine about supplying new smarthubs.
