Can i force devices to connect to my bt wholehome system using 2.4ghz rather than the 5ghz?

So i’m using an amazon fire tv box connected via wifi to our bt wholehome sytem.

This device regularly (a few times a day) disconnects for the wifi and requires device reset to get back online. Help forums suggest that my amazon box, along with some other decices does not hold a very stabel connection usong 5ghz, is there a way to force this device to connect using the 2.4ghz signal instead?

Also if it is near 2 discs you may want to try disabling AP steering this will stop it trying to jump between discs
