Decor 2600 screen doesn't work

Hello!

A friend of mine has purchased a decor 2600 to replace his old handset due to nuisance callers.

He's tried, asked others and now myself, to set up the phone for use.

The line is connected as it is possible to make and receive calls, however the screen display does not appear to display anything at all. I've made sure the power line was in correctly, plugged in and switched on, but nothing seems to happen.

I've read the entire manual and it should have displayed the bt logo upon plug in, but the manual doesn't cover the case of that happening.

Please get in touch, I feel I've missed something so simple.

Nothing at all? Have you tried the unit in another mains socket elsewhere? In your home?

The telephone may be dead but it's worth trying everything before replacing it as the next one may give the same results.

It looks to be a nice unit so I'd persevere.
