Extra box subsription include a free Z4 non-recordable box, previously BT did allow customers to pay extra towards a recordable box but I'm not sure that's still an option.

You need to have a working aerial, most are in the loft or mounted to the roof but the location is only for a better signal, if it works and you receive freeview then you'll be ok, BT can also arrange an install for a one-off £40 fee
