Faulty screen on baby monitor?

Hi! Today we noticed the display on our baby monitor doesn’t seem to work correctly, as in the attached photo the vision is not as good and like in old camera film? This is even with daylight.

We’ve tried to look at settings and disconnecting camera & monitor unit with no result.

Also noticed when we press power button to activate the screen, there’s a flash and it takes a couple of secs for the screen to come on.

Sound seems to work ok.

I have asked if anyone might have spilled a drink on it or dropped it today, but all say no.

Any ideas please?

Re: Faulty screen on baby monitor?

If it's in warranty then call the BT help desk and they should provide a fault code so it can be returned to the point of sale.

Re: Faulty screen on baby monitor?

Hi, thanks for response, annoyingly it’s the usual not long after the warranty has run out!

Re: Faulty screen on baby monitor?

Call them if its only just expired, their is a level of reasonableness, you have not said the type of monitor but the if its the VBM6000 it's guaranteed for a period of 24 months from the date of purchase.
