Yes I understand, but my BT SmartHub 2 as outdated Firmware which was last update on the 17th Oct 2020. Isn't my devices currently at RISK because of outdated router firmware?
And did you mark this as solved by the way 🤔 because I didn't I'm getting ANNOYED NOW 😠 at this Community marking my posts solved when they ain't, please leave me mark them as solved.
As you hav only just started to use the SH2 after ASUS you just need to leave hub connected 24/7 and it should update automatically
That is the version my SH2 is running, what makes you think it is outdated?
The post is solved, your question was answered correctly, you cannot force an update.
Your question asked how to force a firmware update. It was answered correctly that it is not possible to force an update. In what way does that not answer the question.
I've got a question to ask, how do I force my SmartHub 2 to get the latest update
With regard to latest firmware version, why would you expect it to be updated just because the year has changed?
No I did not mark your question as solved.
As has already been pointed out, your question was fully answered. If you want a different answer, ask a different question!
But there is no way to force an update.
As an aside, I wonder if those with black WiFi discs are running a different version of firmware. Do you have the black discs?
